French Press Cozies (Pattern Duo)

Includes both the Ribbed French Press Cozy and Felt French Press Cozy Patterns on one page.

Keep your coffee or tea warm longer with a French press cozy. Quick to knit, these use less than 100 yards of yarn! The ribbed version is great for showing off handspun yarn, and the felted version is great as a base for needle felting or embroidery.

 

Size:  4 by 7 inches- not including plunger or handle. 

Level: Intermediate- Need to know how to increase and work on double pointed needles.

Materials: 

-Handspun: 90 yards (82 meters) bulky handspun yarn

-Felted: 100 yards (91 meters) bulky 100% wool yarn 

-Size 15/10 mm double pointed needles

-Size 15/10 mm 16 inch circular needle (optional, for felted version)

-Tapestry needle to weave in ends
