October Sweater

Yummy "real wool" feel to this yarn- very earthy with a bit of fuzz. 100% wool dark chocolate brown wool and Noro yarn in wool and silk for the color band. The clever part of this sweater is that the stripes all happen in the Noro yarn, which is self striping. This is a heavyweight sweater, suitable for wearing outside as long as you don't live somewhere ridiculously cold.

Measurements: Please measure yourself carefully. The sleeves are long enough you can roll the sleeves back a couple inches if you are so inclined.  Nice loose fitting back for ease of movement.

Deep corrugated ribbing on the bottom and neck hem compliment the yolk I designed custom for this sweater. Stretchy ribbing on the long sleeves make it so you can tuck gloves in to the sleeves or push the sleeves up if you get hot.

Subtle decreases at either seam on the body bring the body in tighter at the hips to add some illusion of shape. Meant to hit at hit level. It is reversible- the pattern goes all the way around and the sweater is identical on both sides. Tapered arms narrow at the wrist so there is not too much fabric.

Totally designed by me with no patterns- not even the motifs. And totally done on the fly. Which is how it is not my size. But it is so lovely as it is I can't bear the thought of "fixing" it to my size. So you can have this lovely instead!

Handwash cold and air dry.
