Natural Dyes

Natural dyes create a wide range of earthy hues. I carry a variety of natural dyes and mordants. The natural dyes I carry are high quality dye extracts from small companies that sources their natural dyes from organic and sustainable sources.Dye extracts are easy to use, just water and heat are needed. Blend multiple dyes together or add an iron or cream of tartar bath to create even more colors.

-Mordants and Dyes if you plan to do more dyeing- most of the dyes and mordants can be purchased in larger quantities of 25 or 100 gram packages
-Natural Dye Kits- I measure these so you don't have to do any calculations. Designed to dye in 4 ounce/100 gram increments, just mordant and dye- complete instructions are included. You can buy mordants and dyes separately in case you already have mordants or dyes you want to use, or buy them in sets. You can even buy yarn and fiber measured to go with these kits- great for gifts, practicing your dyeing, and as a complete kit for wholesalers.
